With Council Staff working from home in response to the COVID 19 pandemic moving the schedule training programme for Hobsons Bay City Council online was a logical choice.  As a web based solution Doc Assembler with a focus on collaboration and accessibility from anywhere meant taking the training programme online was an absolute winner for the Council. 

Ironically, the Council had been keen to move away from their incumbent solution for managing their agendas and minutes as accessibility and ease of use was a major headache for Council.  The motivation to move to a modern, flexible web based solution had already prompted the Council to select Doc Assembler as a replacement system and throw in the sudden and swift changes brought about by COVID 19 and that decision has delivered immediate and tangible benefits for Council.

The solution provided by Harbour Software delivers strong document collaboration, flexibility and ease of use and combined with the delivery of the online training program via Microsoft Teams has meant that the Governance Team are able to really engage in a collaborative effort to implement Doc Assembler.
